Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor, best known for playing in the popular television show Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. Since his college days Meloni had a keen interest in acting. After that, he attended his home institution, the University of Colorado at Boulder. Although he's been in films and on television however, it's his characters portrayed on small screens that has earned him fame. He's been able to easily play characters from both sides of the law and grab the audience's interest. In the first television show in which he played the role of a killer. Later, he was able to portray the role as an NYPD Detective. His performances on small screens have been recognized with multiple Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. His most attractive facial feature is believed to be his striking blue eyes that are regarded as a signature and helped in portraying tough characters that have charisma. The People's Magazine's Sexiest Men Alive 2006 featured him.
