Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor who is well known for his part in the television show 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. Meloni discovered his passion for acting in his early days at the college classroom and then studied acting in the University of Colorado at Boulder. His characters in television have earned him plenty of recognition. It is no surprise that the actor has managed to grab people's attention with his characters on both sides of the law. He portrayed the role of a serial murderer in the first TV series he appeared in and then went on to take on the role as an NYPD detective.
